Who am I?  Like all of us, I'm a work in progress.  I look through the lens of wabi sabi....Wabi Sabi is a Japanese concept of appreciating authenticity; seeing what is  genuine in something and accepting "what is".   There is simplicity,  austerity, and ingenuous integrity of natural processes.  Seeing the  beauty in our own asymmetry, our imperfections, our constant transitioning along our journey and feeling the bliss of our non-dual essence is what  our practice of yoga brings.
I became serious about yoga in 2001.   The physical and spiritual practice helped bring me through a very difficult time.  The influence of yoga in my life continued to build, and in 2010 I took the opportunity to take a teacher training program.  It was and is a life transforming experience.

I'm a yoga teacher  registered with Yoga Alliance at the E -500 hr. level, with an emphasis in Therapeutic practice.   I have certification in Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans,  and Thai Yoga Bodywork (Thai Massage).  I am also a certified Kripalu yoga instructor at the 500 hr level.   There is an eclectic energy flow in my classes with attention to safe alignment principles and encouragement toward self-awareness and exploration.
