Lately, I've been listening to and reading Mark Nepo. He offers this comparison: Fish are oxygen breathing creatures, yet they live in the water. Using their gills, they extract what they need to live and the rest just passes through. We also can move through our atmosphere extracting what we need to live and thrive, and let the rest pass by.
Our prana is not only coming from our breath, but also from the food we eat, and our spiritual food as well. The books we choose to read, our forms of entertainment, our choice of companionship, are also types of "food". Choose with care, because what you take in becomes part of you.
